HOMAM is an action packed entertainer and the script has been treated differently . As a whole the film will go well with the city audiencess with all mind games of gangsters and cops. Jagapathi Babu as spirited cop excels. Jagapathi Babu comes out knockout performance and his performance is big asset. Mamata's rain song with Jagapathi is worth appraisable as her body beauty is well capitalized in the song. She looks awesome in a blue sari.

JD Chakravarthy makes debut as director with Homam in Telugu. He had a passion for direction, learnt a lot from his mentor Ram Gopal Varma by working as his associate for many films. Especially, he chose a different method in the taking which resembled the Hollywood action films. He scripted the screenplay with perfection and did not lose grip on the story at any point of time.

Sakshi Sivanand is back as item bomb in a song. It is noteworthy that mass audience will peep into the theatres only for Mamta’s skin show and Sakshi’s latkas and Jhatkas. The cinematography by Bharani K Dharan and editing by Bhanodaya are exceptionally excellent.
A sincere police cop Vishwanth (Pradeep Rawat) picks up Malli (Jagapathi Babu), son of a criminal and makes him an under cover cop. Malli infiltrates the mob syndicate run by Daddy (Mahesh Manjrekar). On the other hand, Daddy makes Chandu (J D Chekravarthy), a rag picker, a police officer. Chandu gives all the information about police to Daddy while Malli passes the details about Daddy’s business to Vishwanath. Both Malli and Chandu land in danger of being caught and exposed to the enemy. The rest of the movie is all about how they uncover the identity of the other man to save themselves.
