The story of My Friend Ganesha offers nothing new to the Indian audience who have already seen films made on similar themes. What separates My Friend Ganesha is the inclusion of animated characters of Child Ganesha and his mouse which makes the film an interesting treat to watch.

The plot of My Friend Ganesha revolves around a family of four and maid. Aaditya is the father(Kiran Janjhani), Aarti is the mother (Sheetal Shah), Ashu is their 8-year-old son (Master Ehsaas Channa], Aditi is Aaditya’s sister (Aarya) and Gangutai is their maid (Upasana Singh).

Ashu is going through a phase where he feels lonely and is in need of company. The only company he gets is in the form of his maid, Gangutai.
