The film is all about love and winning it at all odds through psychological games. The deft handling of the film, engrossing narration and splendid performances by Gopichand, Biju Menon and Chandramohan are major highlights.

Choreographer turned Rajashekar's narrative skills are commendable. Though the film's story is very cliched one, he has made the film look very engrossing till the end. With perfect blend of comedy and high-voltage performances, Ranam is good entertainer. Director Amma Raja Sekhar narrated entire film in lighter-vein with a strong comedy base.
