Anjali (Arti Chabria) a desperate job seeker , who had run away from home shares her name with Village bred industrialist Sundararamurthy ( Prakash Raj)’s suspicious wife. The coincidence helps her find a job with Sukumar (Srikanth)who owns an electronics mall. Anjali also pretends to be Gopal( Prabhudeva)’s wife to find a rented house for a small price. Gopal and Sukumar are in love with Anjali. With the turns of events, while Sundara Murthy suspects that his wife Anjali to be having an extramarital affair with Sukumar. Wife Anjali suspects that her husband is having an extramarital affair with young Anjali.What follows is comic roller coaster for over two hours.

‘Intlo sreemathi” is based on the extremely successful Hindi film 'Hungama' made by Priya Darshan with Akshaye Khanna, Rimmi Sen and Aftab Shivdasani in the lead, which in turn has great resemblance to our very own super hit of yester years 'Gopalrao gari ammai' also directed by K Vasu who wielded the megaphone for this film.
