A routine tale, the story begins with Veena (meera) who is an aspiring singer and her only dream is to make it big in the world of singing. With this, she comes to Chennai along with her father (jagathy) and begins her trials. In this process, she comes across Amir (manoj k jayan) who is a dealer in Sandalwood. He assures her of a bright future in the singing industry but not without a clause. Veena has to marry him. With no other choice, Veena gets married to Amir but it is from here her whole life takes a turn. Whether she is able to fulfill her dream or not forms the rest of the story.
