Bhavani DVD adds third Blu-ray to it's collection within 50 days of releasing Don Seenu and Simha.

Brindavanam is One of the TOP Block Busters of the Year 2010.  This is a soothing mass and family entertainer after a long hiatus. There is humor, there are enough action episodes, pleasing cinematography, crisp editing, captivating settings, attractive color schemes and some story to talk about. What else a common audience wish that this?

Brindavanam is a decent and clean movie with enough ingredients which made it a great movie at box office. NTR proves to be one of the BEST dancer in tollywood.

Brindavanam DVD & Blu-ray: High Definition Trailer

Samantha who played prim, proper and individualistic Jessie in YMC played a glamorous role in this film by wearing western outfits. She is cool. Brahmanandam is hilarious as dupe father of NTR.

Music by Thaman is good on screen when combined with the visuals. Background music is nice.

Dil Raju has again proved that he is on track. Vamsi Paidipalli erased all the negative opinions of people about his capabilities. He delivered a wholesome entertainer despite taking inspiration from old movies.

The action sequences in this movie are also well conceived. Vamsi has also did well in entertainment department in the second half of brindavanam.

The first half is impressive with little humor and some action sequences; the second half is filled with actual drama, emotions, love factors, matured outlooks of every character, but finally ends up with an obvious note.

"Brindavanam" Blu-ray Disc Features:

  • High Definition 24p Video - 1920x1080p-AVC H.264
  • Uncompressed LPCM (24 bit), Dolby Digital 5.1 (16 bit) Audio
  • On screen Popup & More interactive Menus
  • English Subtitle and TeluguAudio Stream

The movie starts with a pleasing song ‘Brinadaavanamadi…’ from 1953 release Missamma while the titles role simultaneously. The interesting part is screening the song in color. That has given a class classic appeal. And the contrast is when the actual movie started with a high voltage action episode. That pulls masses into the narration.

Bhavani has put together yet another stellar disc for Brindavanam. Indian Blu-ray releases are a remarkably mixed bag, and even those from the higher budget, wider audience, Northern Bollywood studios often leave a lot to be desired. Bhavani is batting 1.000 with their releases though, with outstanding razor sharp video and active, clear, and punchy audio. The action sequences really will test your speakers, with punches being thrown and landed all over the sound field. If you are a fan of Indian film music, the Telugu LPCM 5.1 track is a miracle, bumping powerful bass and again using the entire sound field to create an experience that even makes me wanna dance.

Update to my earlier review. Parents visiting from India watched this Blu-ray in USA &nbsp;and said that it is much better experience than watching the movie in a theater in India - crisp picture and superb sound on this Blu-ray. Thanks again for this amazing blu-ray.</p>
