Director Chinni Krishna, Protege of VV Vinayak tried to imitate his guru in making a commercial film. Like Vinayak he mixed action and comedy and made a mass masala entertaining movie. Veedu Theda banks on mass comedy and was successful at box office by recovering its budget. If you don’t mind enjoying the formulaic film with some entertaining comedy, then this is the right one for you.
Nikhil is energetic as usual and he proves his mettle in acting, dance and fights. Pooja Bose looks cute and has that typical Bengali sex appeal. She has a lovely smile and the glowing complexion that masses like to see. Pooja looks seductive and sensuous with an innocent appeal. Performance wise, she was decent.
MS Narayana was excellent once again, MS Narayana does his ‘Dookudu’ mimic stunt yet again. This time he imitates Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu in addition to Balakrishna and Rajinikanth.
A multitude of comedian charactersare there. Ali is fun as Luv Kumar. Venu Madhav manages to draw a few chuckles playing the easy to please, Udatha Bhaskar. Master Bharath as the bride's brother is best of the lot along with MS Narayana, who plays a stage artist, Picchi Pulusu. Brahmanandam's role as a fake "Banana swamy", is the most entertaining of them all. Raghu Babu brought few smiles, Krishna Bhagawan’s satires were adequate

Kathi Seenu (Nikhil) is a good young man but a troublemaker. His activities bring trouble to his family but his Bava (Krishna Bhagawan) supports him. However, one incident challenges Kathi Seenu to find a girl, fall in love and marry her. In this process, he comes across Meghana (Pooja) at a wedding and falls in love with her.
However, Meghana is allergic to love and she rejects Seenu’s moves. On the other hand, the notorious Liquor Shankar (Sayaji) is searching desperately for Meghana. Who is Liquor Shankar? Why does he want Meghana? What happens to Kathi Seenu’s love story? All this forms the rest of the story.
