'Minimolude Achan' is all about the life of a mental patient and the travails that his grown up daughter faces.

Pandit's character is called Adithya Varma who is in a mental asylum for some unknown reasons. His daughter Minimol is being taken care of by her paternal uncle who has usurped her and father's properties. Minimol leads a painful existence as he is subjected to worst forms of insults and taunts. But the hapless young woman has no other go but to put up with it all as her father has lost her senses. Preposterous scenes follow one after another and having exposed to this sort of cavalier film making, endurance is the biggest skill that a viewer should possess.

 

Minimol meets her father in the mental asylum every Monday, but the unfortunate father is unable to recognise his daughter. The doctors have only one condition to discharge him, that he should recognise his daughter! Dont ask whether there any psychiatrist would approve of it. The speciality of the movie is the experimentation with the flashback technique. Pandit's cinematic wizardry comes to the fore as we see flash backs within flash backs.
