“Geethanjali” is a super success at the box office. Geethanjali is a Grand and Hilarious Success. The movie “Geethanjali” which was made in a very modest budget, was ended up a profitable venture in both the Telugu states witshin 3 days of its release. Kona Venkat's Geethanjali became a hit and the collections were phenomenal across all the areas. The comedy quotient in the film had gone very well with the audience. The movie ends up a big break for Anjali after the success of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. 
 
The basic story and screenplay format of the film is good. Kona Venkat has written good screenplay. Dialogues written by Kona Venkat are entertaining. First time director Raja Kiran has done a satisfactory job. He did well to generate entertaining and suspense.
 
Saptagiri is highlight of the movie after his Prema Katha Chithram. Shakalaka Shankar who made a career out of imitating Ram Gopal Varma is entertaining with RGV imitation.
 
Major plus point of the film, is the entire first half.  Entertainment has been filled in huge quarters, and makes up for a hilarious watch during this part. Comedy scenes showcasing the evil effects, and the fun associated with the characters, have been brought out extremely well.
 
The entertainment in the movie is enjoyable.  Brahmanandam’s role of Saitan Raj is very good having a Dookudu like ending for it. Jabardasth fame Shakalaka Shankar brings in superb laughs with his unique accent and histrionics. He has a tailor made role, and becomes the highlight of the first half.

A woman commits suicide in an apartment in Hyderabad. That apartment becomes a haunted one. Srinivas (Srinivasa Reddy) is a passionate movie lover who comes to Hyderabad looking for direction opportunities. He rents this haunted apartment without knowing about suicide incident. Strange things start happening and he is visited by Anjali (Anjali). He slowly realises that there is a ghost in the house. The rest of the story is about the connection between ghost and Anjali.
