'Appavum Veenjum' deconstructs the mystery genre in ways that authentically interest the discerning cinephile, throwing up one surprise after the other even while keeping a guessing game on in full swing.
Sunny Wayne plays Jude in 'Appavum Veenjum' who has strayed on to a hazy terrain where the mist has spread its elusiveness all around, day and night. There he runs into Fernandez, an odd estate owner with whom he strikes up an amity. He is also introduced to the indefinable Merlyn (Remya Krishnan), Fernandez's wife, who with an obscure and almost deceptive charm adds up to the mystery of the place.

Jude (Sunny Wayne) is the member of a music troupe in Goa. During one of his tour programs with his music troupe, he got acquainted with a wealthy estate owner Fernandez (Prathap Pothen). Jude becomes a part of the family of Fernandez. Remya Krishnan plays Merlin Fernandez, wife of Fernandez. The friendship between Jude and Fernandez later runs into rough weather and the resulting intriguing events are plotted in ‘Appavum Veenjum’. ‘Appavum Veenjum’ is scripted and directed by Viswanath. The movie is produced by Shine Augustine, Benny Mundackal, and T C Babu under the banner of M T M Production House. Balu Varghese, Sunil Sugatha, Leshoy, Swetha Menon, Geetha Vijayan, and Devi Ajith also do prominent roles. Ouseppachen composes music for the lines of Rafeeq Ahmed.
