The film narrates the story of a rich spoilt kid Ishvar (Ishvar), whose father (Nasser) is imprisoned in a murder case. Ishvar is a money lender and collects money along with his friend Singampuli. Ishvar's best friend Arun is the only educated person in their gang. Predictably, Arun end up with a job in Chennai. Everything goes well in Ishvar's life until the arrival of Dhyana, the village postmaster's educated daughter. Ishvar and Dhyana's first meet is a bad experience where sparks fly. Eventually after a few initial encounters, love develops between them.

Meanwhile, Arun elopes with a rich girl from Chennai and they get married with the help of Ishvar, and the trouble begins. What follow next is the troublesome acts of evil cousins, a corrupt police officer and murders with some twist and turns!
