A regular love tale, the story begins with Vasanth (santhanu), an IT professional in Chennai who believes in marrying a girl of his choice. But then, his grandfather (vijayakumar) who lives in the village has different thoughts and he already fixes an alliance from one of the relatives. Knowing this, Vasanth lies that he is in love with a girl. The grandfather sets a condition Vasanth must get the girl's parents approval in 30 days. Meanwhile, Vasanth comes across Narmada (rashmi) and falls in love with her. However, Narmada's father (ashish vidyarthi) who is a cop doesn't agree. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
