Mammootty is Machu in the movie, an orphan who became a big shot from his really difficult and modest beginnings as a petty scrap dealer. His rags to -riches story impresses Andrew Perreira, an NRI who is an industrialist in Singapore. He comes up with an interesting offer and invites Machu to Singapore. And once Machu gets the taste of international business and associated living styles, life is not the same for him. The Telugu actor Navaneeth Kaur debuts into Mollywood through ‘Love in Singapore' playing the heroine to Mammootty. She will be in the role of Diana, the daughter of Perreira in the movie. Also in the cast are Rafi-Mecartin regulars like Salimkumar, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Harishree Ashokan, Bijukuttan Rajan P Dev, Lalu Alex and Nedumudi Venu. Young star Jayasuriya also appear in a brief role in the movie.
