Gauri (Sneha) lost all her family to the Tsunami  and city-based Sharath Babu takes her home to his family as she is from the same village. He is hen-pecked by his wife (Chandana) who thinks of Gauri as little more than a maid. Their daughter's marriage is saved by Gauri and her position in the family rises a little bit. Vikram, their London-based son is Gauri's love-interest, and even saves her from getting married to a cheat, but he wants to see whether they are physically compatible or not.
