Huge Assets to this Movie are - Mickey J Meyer's Music & Ravi Yadav's Cinematography.  Enjoy all the "great visuals" and "haunting songs" shot in USA brought to you on this 24FPS Progressive DVD released by Bhavani. Stunning Video quality and audio mixing will rock your big screen Home theaters.

Music by Mickey J Meyer is excellent, especially the music for ‘Ye Teega Puvvuno’ continues to haunt you for a while.
It is a big challenge to score fresh music for old lyrics and Mickey came up with fabulous job. Background score by Thaman is also good.

Special thing about Maro Charitra: Entire Movie is set in USA from the beginning to the end.  Ravi Yadav's visualization of various locations, especially the first glimpse of Niagara Falls, Salt Lake City, Kansas, desert in Dubai is breathtaking.

Ravi Yadav, a cinematographer, who has worked on films like Race, Aitraaz and Naquab in the past, has also directed this film apart from cranking the camera. His top class cinematography is a treat to eyes. The locations chosen are excellent. All the songs are shot in exquisite locales. Probably no other Telugu movie in the past was shot in USA so beautifully.  Here are some locations where the songs were shot:

Ee Teega Puvvuno (Happy song):
The Niagara falls

we don’t care song: Las Vegas
Ee Teega Puvvuno(Sad Song): Times Square
Bhale Magadivoy song: Salt landscapes in Utah

Dil Raju gave the biggest hit to Varun Sandesh with Kotha Bangaru Lokam. He has come up with yet another venture and this time, he has teamed up with Varun Sandesh to re-create the yesteryear’s classic hit made by the legendary K Balachander. Matinee Entertainments and Dil Raju have spent a lot of money on quality of the movie and it shows on the screen.

Varun Sandesh looks dashing as a NRI youngster and he is energetic, fits the bill of a desi US lad. Anita is sweet looking and has a natural sex appeal in her. She has the potential to grow. Shardaddha Das is endearing in a short role. She suits modern characters very well.

One scene that deserves appreciation is the one where lovers feel the presence but avoid making eye contact in Times Square, New York.

Balu (Varun Sandesh) is born and brought up in USA. Swapna (Anita) moves to USA because her father’s research on Telugu folk songs is being encouraged by a university in USA. Balu and Anita are neighbours. Balu’s father (Pratap Pothan) is highly sophisticated and is extremely strict in nature. Anita’s mother (Urvashi) is highly rustic (Srikakulam accent) and narrow-minded. Balu and Anita fall in love, but parents oppose. Parents put a restriction that if these two lovers don’t meet/communicate for a year, then they can get married. Balu joins a job. His boss (Shraddha Das) is a tender woman who is coming out of depression due to a personal loss. Anita’s brother-in-law (Adarsh Bala Krishna) tries to create rift between Balu and Anita. Rest of the film is about how love prevails and lovers overcome all the obstacles.
