After 'Mantra' & 'Manorama', now 'Sye Aata'  is a heroine-oriented Telugu Movie with Charming girl Charmee in lead role. 'Sye Aata' has raised more hype through Devi Sri Prasad’s awesome music. The film’s background music, songs and dance sequences are good. Charmee is beautiful and back in shape (with flat tummy). She danced well too.

Devisri Prasad’s work in songs like ‘Sye Aata (Title Song), My Name is Malleeshwari and Gajjela Gurram’ was rocking.

All the songs are choreographed well. They looked good on the screen; the songs appeared more like stage performances. The graphics work in the first song (shot in Vizag) with an animated character was good.

Charmee, as Malleshwari, acts well in the second half and her energy for dance is appreciable. She gets to mouth some extremely mass dialogues that will be delivered by any South Indian Mass hero.

Director well utilised the image of Charmi to pull audience to theatres.   Ali’s touch of humor as Nanna Chandrasekhar (similar to choreographer Amma Rajasekhar) with ‘Ghazini’ shades was hilalrious. Child participants of ‘Aata’ dance show should have enjoyed this different experience with Charmi.

The story begins with Malleshwari (charmee) who is a dance choreographer and she has her team of kids vying for the first prize in 'Sye Aata', a dance competition in a TV channel. They come from Vizag to Hyderabad to take part in the competition semifinals. However, fate gets her to the door of Shankar Babai (kota) who is a notorious goonda and a sequence of events happen which bring Malleshwari in the midst of the gangwar between Shankar and his arch rival Pandit (sivaprasad). Shankar gives a task to Malleshwari kidnapping the kids and threatens to kill them if she doesn't do what he says. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Perfomance wise, it was a show of Charmee throughout. As movie is clubbed with dance competition, Charmi has got an opportunity to once again repeat ‘Maha Maha’ kind of movements. Looks wise Charmi was eloquent while performance wise Durga Malleshwari was rugged with enough mass tinge (Vizag Kaththi). Kota repeated his regular modulations and his body language steals the show.
