Synopsis:

Ace Director Shankar (Bharatheeyudu, Aparichithudu) switches roles and produces this film allowing one of his bright and talented lieutenants Balaji Shaktivel to wield the mega phone. And Shaktivel delivers a very intense, emotional and moving love story. The story begins rather predictably, however the way it unfomds in the later stages and especially the ending defies our imagination and becomes an overwhelming emotional experience.

Aiswarya (Sandhya) is a rich adolescent girl. Murali (Bharath) is a poor uneducated boy who works as bike mechanic. They fall in love, but Aishwarya's parents want to marry her off to a rich NRI. Aiswarya forces Murali elope from her hometown Madhurai. They reach Chennai. What happens thereon forms the crux and where the movie radically differs from other films of this genre.

Bharath in a deglamourized role comes up with a stellar performance. Sandhya is a complete revelation. She is terrific with her natural performance. Her girl next-door looks and adolescent magnetism add lot of believability to the character. Arun kumar, who acted as Bharat's aide is hilarious with his cowboy attitude. The film is based on a real story taken place in the town of Madhurai. The film remains honest to the story with some brilliant moments on screen.
