A boring tale, the story begins with the Muslim girl Rasiya (meghna) who is the grand daughter of the wealthy Bapu Musaliar (charu haasan). She falls in love with Reghu (mohanakrishnan) who hails from a middle class family and despite being a brilliant student, he has to fulfil his family demands. He also manages to reciprocate to Rasiya's feelings. However, Rasiya's father Abu Baker (george) hatches a plan. He tells Reghu to find a good job, settle down and marry Rasiya. He also gives a recommendation letter to Reghu and asks him to meet Jamaal. Incidentally, Jamaal is a scout who recruits youngsters for terrorist training. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
