An extremely sincere film that is a must watch.Just to remind us of that one tale of courage if not for its cinematic value. 

 

Sasho Satish Sarathy as Manjunath is brilliant. Yashpal Sharma as measured as ever in his role as Golu Goyel, the prime accused.

Majnunath works for an oil company. After he took action against a mafia gang for diluting petrol, what he got in return were six bullets straight in the chest. This is a case from 2005.This is the incident the film is based on. Majnunath was a student of IIM Lucknow. He would study but also live life to the fullest every day. 

 

He had three friends: Gautam, Sujata, and Andy. Cut to the day when campus placements are on, and Majnunath lands a job with an oil company as a sales officer. He soon gets posted to a city in the heart of UP, Lakhimpur Khiri. Within days of taking post, he sees how some oil dealers along with the people from the oil company are taking customers for a ride. One such man was Golu Goyal, who was also Majnunath's friend. Despite repeated requests from Manju, Golu continues with his plans. 

 

As a result Manju lodges a complaint, and kickstarts an inquiry against him. The mafia soon takes care of this little roadblock, and eliminates him.But it's not too late for the future of this country either. The gun shots in Manju's chest resound all over the country.
