In This Film Prithviraj steals the show as Moideen and it is one of his best performances till date. He completely shines in the emotional and romantic sequences; thanks to his magnificent voice and expressive eyes. There is no better choice to play Moideen, other than Prithviraj.
Parvathy, who plays Kanchanamala, once again proves that she is one of the finest talents of contemporary cinema. She has done a mind blowing job and it is her career-best role and performance. Prithviraj and Parvathy's fantastic chemistry has helped much on bringing forth, a depth and soul to the narrative.

‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’ is a real life story portraying love, hope, despair and tragedy in the life of two characters from orthodox families – Moideen (Prithviraj Sukumaran), a Muslim boy and Kanchanamala (Parvathy Menon), a Hindu girl, in the backdrop of Calicut (Mukkom) of the 1960s.
He falls in love with Kanchanamala, the daughter of a popular Hindu feudal lord Kottangal Achuthan (Shivaji Guruvayoor). But no oppositions could change Moideen and Kanchana's love and what happened to them, forms the plot of the movie.
