Ettekaal Second is a love story that strives to be conventional. Kanakaraghavan directed 'Ettekkaal Second',is a curiously experimental movie which has its moments of appeal. The title has some significance, as the makers try to drive home the point that 8.2 seconds in the minimum time that a glance from a boy or girl should last so that it can be qualified as romance.The title is refreshing , the movie is a good love story

Padmasoorya is doing the character of Sandeep, a smart young guy and his father is a driver of a landlord, Menon (Madhu). Niveditha (Miya) is the granddaughter of Menon and she is a sound engineer in Mumbai. Niveditha comes to capture sound from the hills of Kerala and then she becomes good friends with Sandeep. Niveditha is already engaged to Mithun ( Rohith Vijayan). But soon she falls in love with Sandeep and this the twist in the story
