Amar (Ajay Varma) is a petty thief. One day, he gets to meet an auditor named Benarjee (Kota Srinivas Rao) who comes with a proposal. Benarjee asks Amar to pretend like Sandeep, a rich businessman, who also looks like him and if he does Amar would get Rs One Crore. Amar readily agrees and goes to the Nandanavanam estate, off 120 Kms from the city. Little does he realize that he is a victim of a larger conspiracy that will leave his world changed forever. As they reach the estates, Amar learns that Sandeep has a mother, (Talluri Rameswari) sister (Surekah Vani) and uncle (Naresh) while Divya (Manasa) is his lover.

Even as Amar tries to accomplish his simple looking mission and enjoy the rewards, he is shocked to know that his look alike was actually killed by Benarjee. The mystery deepens when Divya and Benarjee start alleging that Amar is the murderer. Amar has only one way to prove his innocence. His friend Vasu who knows everything from the time Benarjee makes the offer to Amar. However Vasu contends that Amar is the one who killed Sandeep. Amar is devastated.
