Don't miss it to watch Shwetha Menon's glamour. Rathinirvedam is a remake of the 1978 classic film with the same name, which deals with the lusty affair of a teenager with an older woman. The director has retained the basic theme of the original, but he has surely made every possible attempt in maintaining the taste of present generation.
 

Shwetha Menon has delivered a wonderful performance in comparison with Jayabharathi. Shwetha appears to be much better than the demands of the character. But her skin show seems to be forced with deliberate camera shots intending to expose. The chemistry between Shwetha and Sreejith is good.

M Jayachandran's music is the major attraction in the technical front. His background score heightens the emotional quotient of the movie.

 The story is set on the backdrop of a village and here comes Pappu (sreejith) an adolescent boy for his vacation. This is his mother's village and here he chances upon his neighbour Rathy Chechy (shweta menon), a rather elderly and matured woman. In no time, Pappu gets attracted to Rathy and he tries to get close to her. Eventually, his attractions become filled with lust and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.
