It's not always easy to make a good comedy entertainer and that being the case, it's only fair to say that actor-TV host Nadirshah has done a good job with his directorial debut Amar Akbar Anthony. Featuring Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya in the titular roles, this film is an out and out comedy.It was always an expectation with this film whether the three actors would be able to recreate their Classmates chemistry on screen again.Nadirshah has done a commendable job as director

Amar (Prithviraj), Akbar (Jayasurya), and Anthony (Indrajith) are close friends living in Kochi. Amar works at the Center mall, Akbar is the lift operator at a hospital and Anthony works at CUSAT. They enjoy a carefree life without bothering what happens around them. The only person to whom they have some kind of attachment and regard is Pathu, daughter of Rasmeena, who lives at Amar’s house. Their perceptions and beliefs get shattered with an unexpected event and the resulting story forms the plot of ‘Amar, Akbar, Anthony’.
