An okay tale, the story begins with Josy (jayasuriya) who is a lazy youngster taking life as it comes. He fails in his engineering and is not keen on taking up a job. Meanwhile, his mother Padma (rohini) who dotes on him makes a huge loan for his education and also for the home they are living as Josy's father is no more. Eventually, after getting pressure from Padma, Josy takes up a job as an RJ and he falls in love with Seema (anjali). The twist occurs when few situations compel Josy to move out of the house and Padma gets admitted into ICU. This awakens the lazy Josy and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.
